I've been to Samut Songkhram.
Samut Songkharm is the smallest province of Thailand
Subdivided into 3 districts which are Muang district,
Ampawa district and Bang Khon Tree district
only 72 km. from Bangkok , taking around 2 hours.
North connects with Rachaburi.
South connects with Phetchaburi and Gulf of Thailand.
East connects with Samut Sakhon.
West connects with Phetchaburi and Ratchaburi.
@ Bang kung Temple .. Ampawa district

@ Bang kung Temple .. Ampawa district

Bang kung Temple, you will see the temple hall which is wholly covered
with 4 species of plants
wich are Pho , Sai , Krai and Krang.
It was regarded as one of Unseen in Thailand.
In the park, the interesting thing is King Rama llmuseum having 4 buildings built in traditional Thai style.

The museum displays ancient art objects and the lifestyle
of people during early Rattanakosin period.

At Ampawa floating maket,
you can see a number of boat vendors selling their
fresh produce , seefood and so on.

I visited there on April, then I could paritcipate in Lychee festival.
very delicious. :P
Thanks for the information from "Trip".
